Pan Shan-di is currently studying at the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts. Pan start learning piano at 7. At the age of 15, he entered Shenzhen Arts School where he studied with many renowned piano masters including Mr. Zengping Mao ,Prof. Guangquan Chen and Prof Zhaoyi Dan (但昭義). He then attained Full scholarship to study at the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts. His current piano teacher is the Head of Keyboard Department in HKAPA, Prof. Gabriel Kwok.

Pan has won numerous important Asian and international piano competition prizes. He is the Second Prize Winner of the 16th HongKong-Asian piano open Competition in 2011 (Open Class)  and (Youth Class) (The first prize is vacancy). He won the Honorable Mention in The ltaly Imola Piano Competition in 2013.

Apart from Competition, Pan is an active concert Soloist and has performed with many famus orchrestra and Music Ensembles worldwide.
