Staff Biography
Kim acquired his Bachelor of Music Degree in Piano in 2012 at the Australian Conservatorium Of Music in Sydney, Australia. Throughout his years of his studies, he has studied with Professor Slobodan Zivkovic (Serbia), Professor Kyung Hee Lee (Korea) and James Muir (Sydney Australia).
He successfully finished his Bachelor Degree in Music under under the tutelage of Slobodan Zivkovic and during the course of his studies he also acquired his ATCL Diploma with Distinction in 2010. In fall of 2013, he was accredited as a Full Member of The Music Teachers' Association (MTA NSW). During his time in Australia he has performed in many venues such as the Sydney Opera House, The Concourse Concert Hall (Chatswood) with the Korean Symphony Orchestra (K.O.Z.Y). He has also won 1st place for several local piano competitions. He has also appeared in several TV shows and commercials in Australia.
The primary goal of his teaching is to make the study of piano, simple, engaging, fulfilling and fun.

Kim firmly believes that learning piano should be a nurturing learning experience, where students of all ages not only learn music or how to play the piano but also develop important skills in life, in terms of learning methods, problem solving and self-motivation as well as confidence through personal achievement and performing.
One of the greatest achievement in his teaching career thus far was in a short span of three years, he coached a sixteen year old student from a complete beginner level to an advanced level. Throughout the three years, he has also helped prepared his audition to enter The Australian International Conservatorium of Music. The audition was highly successful, he is currently studying in his 2nd semester, majoring in Piano performance.
