Dorothy Sin is a current BMus student at the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts majoring in Trumpet.

 

She started her trumpet training at 8 and became the student of Music Office at 10. She then joined the Hong Kong Youth Symphonic Band (HKYSB) and Hong Kong Children Symphony Orchestra (HKCSB).

 

Dorothy won the first prizes in the solo trumpet competitions in 61st , 62nd  and 63rd  of Hong Kong Schools Music Festival. In addition, she was awarded both Most Outstanding Trainee Award and Most Outstanding Member Award of Music Office during the year 2011/2012.

 

Dorothy has been giving many public concerts in Hong Kong every year since 2009, she also toured with HKCSO and HKYSB to give performance worldwide such as New York, Ottawa, Toronto, Beijing, Shanghai, Germany, Vienna, Jeju Island & etc.
