Iris Ho, born in Hong Kong, started her vocal training while she was studying in secondary school. After completing her secondary education, she entered the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts majoring in opera and vocal studies. In 2010, she obtained her Advanced Diploma in Performing Arts in music from the Academy, having taught by the renowned Chinese soprano Ms Katusha Tsui-Fraser. Iris was in the Bachelor of Music programme in Hong Kong Baptist University under the tutelage of the renowned soprano Ms Yuki-Ip Po Ching and Ms Chan Siu Kwan. She is graduated in 2013.

 

Iris was a frequent winner of local music competitions including the Hong Kong School Music Festival. She sang in some master classes including Mr Tin Haojiang, Ms Rao Nan. She participated in number of operas including Suor Angelica, Carmen, Aida, Le nozze di Figaro, Rigoletto. Also, she took part in some Musical performances including Annie, Around the world in 80 days. 

 

Iris was a member of Cantoria HK which is established by HKBU and with the group gave several performances in Hong Kong and Beijing. Also, she was awarded a scholarship from Italian Cultural Center in 2012 and went to a summer programme in Siena, Italy.
