Jodie Man-wai Poon, is currently studying Bachelor of Arts in Music in the Chinese University of Hong Kong, where she majors in percussion studying with Dr. Lung Heung Wing and minors in organ.

​

Jodie started learning piano and percussion at 4 and 15 respectively. She has been awarded Associate Diploma in piano performance (ATCL) by the Trinity College of Music (London) and Merit in Grade 8 theory by ABRSM. For percussion, she has attained ABRSM grade 8 with Distinction.

​

Jodie joined various piano and percussion competitions in all these years. She won several prizes in the Hong Kong Schools Music Festival such as First Prize in graded piano solo and Winner of Tom Lee Medal. She got many performance opportunities during her secondary school life which enhanced her performance experience. And Jodie is currently participating in different ensembles and school orchestras as a percussionist.
